The Rev. Parkinson is a certified spiritual director in the Ignatian tradition. He holds a master’s of divinity degree from Immaculate Conception Seminary in Huntington. He also holds professional certifications, including an MSW from Stony Brook University, and licensure as a psychoanalyst, with certificate in psychoanalysis from Blanton-Peale Institute. He also holds a master’s degree in special education & emotional disabilities from L.I.U.’s C.W. Post campus, and two years postgraduate training in analytical psychology at the CG Jung Institute
Ren holds an M.F.A. from the Manhattan School of Music, and is equally proficient on the organ & piano.

Our Board of Stewards consists of nine members of the congregation, whom we elect annually on a rolling basis.
